Senior Banquet 2024

We hope that all 8th grade students will be able to participate in one of the most anticipated and exciting culminating events here at Paulo.  The date, time, and location of this year’s Senior Banquet are as follows:

 

Hilton Garden Inn

Staten Island, New York

Tuesday, June 25, 2024

5:30 P.M. – 9:30 P.M.

 

Participation in all upcoming senior activities is contingent upon behavior and overall academic standing. Factors that influence a child’s overall standing include attendance and lateness, class performance, behavior, homework, effort, attitude, and grades. A conduct grade of N or U may be grounds for exclusion in such events.

 

The cost of $90 per person includes a sit-down dinner with dessert, a DJ, and a lifetime of memories. Only Paulo's Class of 2024 is invited to this event.  Please be advised that students will be not permitted to attend the Senior Banquet if their senior dues are not paid. Appropriate formal attire for middle school students is expected. The deadline to register for the senior banquet is Monday, May 20th.

a) I agree that in the event of an emergency injury or illness, the staff member(s) in charge of the trip may act on my behalf and at my expense in obtaining medical treatment for my child. 

b) I understand that my child is expected to behave responsibly and to follow the school’s discipline code and policies. 

c) I agree and understand that I am responsible for the actions of my child. I release the school from all claims and liability that arise in connection with the event, except if due to the negligence of school officials.

d) I understand that I am responsible for getting my child to and from the event location identified above. I understand that my child shall be accompanied by staff member(s) during the event.

e) I understand that alcoholic beverages and/or illegal drugs are prohibited and have discussed this prohibition with my child. I understand that if my child is found in possession of these substances, he/she will be subject to school disciplinary procedures and possible criminal prosecution.

f) I understand that students who violate the school's discipline code may be excluded in the future by the school from participating in senior events.
