8th Grade Trip - Six Flags Great Adventure 2024

On Friday, May 31, 2024, our Senior Class will take their trip to Six Flags Great Adventure. We expect the memory of this day to be one students treasure for years to come. 

 

Please note that participation in all upcoming senior activities is contingent upon behavior and overall academic standing. Factors that influence a child’s overall standing include attedance and lateness, class performance, behavior, homework, effort, attitude, and grades. A conduct grade of N, for any reason, may be grounds for exclusion in such events.  

 

The cost of the trip is $125.15 (which includes a $5.15 transaction fee). This price includes coach bus fare, park entry and lunch. Payment and permission authorization for this trip (Great Adventure Senior Trip) can be found via our website at www.is75.org by clicking the Payment & Registration button. The deadline to register is Friday, April 19th, 2024. (If your child has a valid season pass, the cost of the trip is $60.This cost covers transportation and a meal voucher.

a) I agree that in the event of an emergency injury or illness, the staff member(s) in charge of the trip may act on my behalf and at my expense in obtaining medical treatment for my child. 

b) I understand that my child is expected to behave responsibly and to follow the school’s discipline code and policies. 

c) I agree and understand that I am responsible for the actions of my child. I release the school from all claims and liability that arise in connection with the trip, except if due to the negligence of school officials.

d) I understand that I am responsible for getting my child to and from the departure and return sites identified above. I understand that my child shall be accompanied by staff member(s) during the trip, including while traveling from the departure site to the destination site, and from the destination site to the return site.

e) I understand that alcoholic beverages and/or illegal drugs are prohibited and have discussed this prohibition with my child. I understand that if my child is found in possession of these substances, he/she will be subject to school disciplinary procedures and possible criminal prosecution.

f) I understand that students who violate the school's discipline code may be excluded in the future by the school from participating in a trip.
